How to become watercolor painter without stress

Image
It is certainly quite challenging to start from scratch. With so much different information and resources all over the internet. This is one of the YouTube channels that I can warmly recommend, for all those who take a watercolor brush in their hand for the first time.   Andrew Geeson loose watercolours             Why I think this approach is good for beginners .      It often happens that you try to follow an instructional video and the result is disastrous. With the approach that Andrew Geeson has, almost every time our painting succeeds.   And success, in my opinion, is the biggest driver to move on .  If you have any questions feel free to ask them in the comments, I will try to answer as best I can .   Visit my website:  https://ivancevicart.com/   Visit my Etsy store if you want to buy any of my paintings .

Is watercolor lighthouse painting for beginner ?

Image
Watercolor lighthouse certainly one of the demanding topics for a beginner.    Why is it so ? First of all, when drawing a lighthouse, we have to take into account many factors, such as perspective, size in relation to other objects, etc ...   Waves, clouds, and the atmosphere are often tied to lighthouses. My picture clearly shows all the mistakes and the struggle I had with this picture . Of course, I am in no way discouraging you from trying this topic. If you do not take the risk of failure, you will never grow as an artist.   At the end of the day you either have a picture or you have a lesson learned. If you have any questions feel free to ask them in the comments, I will try to answer as best I can .

#koh-i-noor #mondeluz 36 color chart

The Koh-i-noor Mondeluz Watercolor Pencils are advertised as having highly concentrated pigments in combination with the use of high-quality kaolin white clay for the core.  This results in good, deep color and great application abilities.   The thick 3.8mm diameter core allows for very dominant strokes that can cover great areas while still being able to retain the ability to do intricate areas.  Overall these do quite well in all of these areas.  The sets come in 12 to 36 pieces and have a hexagonal wood shell.     I use watercolors mostly when i go outside to do sketching. They are easy to carry, it is enough to have only a sketchbook and pencils with you.  If you want to see a good tutorial on working with watercolors, take a look at this one: How to paint with Watercolour Pencils       If you have any questions feel free to ask them in the comments, I will try to answer as best I can .
