Painting on rough watercolor paper
Painting on rough watercolor paper has many advantages.
This is especially true of motifs such as landscapes.
As you can see in this picture, I used a lot of dry brush technique. With just a few strokes, I got the effect of a cornfield.
As you go further into the picture use more water and paint to fill all the valleys in the paper. Because we don't want to see details in the distance.
